Brittney and I had some fun today getting some shots of her in the dress she wore for the Touch Of Class Dance she went to a few weeks ago. Although it took several hours for her to pick out the dress, It was worth it!

Let me just start by saying this photo shoot was So much fun. I don’t think I have ever met a family that laughed so much. I am surprised any of my pictures came out at all with all the silliness that was going on. Seriously though besides all the jokes  this family has a lot of  love between them and it was an honor to their family pictures.  Camp Moo does so much for our family I am thankful I was able to give a little something back.Thank you camp moo!

My first official shoot! December 6, 2009

I had the honor of doing senior pictures for this beautiful young lady. It was freezing outside that day and she let me take pictures of her for over an hour!  I am so thankful for the experience I gained from doing this photo shoot. I definitely learned  a lot from my mistakes. I can’t wait to take more pictures…….

A great day at Hunter Farms October 18, 2009

Pumpkin RyWe finally found the time to do our annual hunter Farms trip. This year we brought our little neighbor Braydon along. The boys were thrilled to have a friend to pick out pumpkins with.  Thanks to all the rain this week it was a BIG muddy mess which of course did not slow our little guys down one bit. The kids still had as much fun as they always do. They played forever in the hay maze and got their faces painted.  After much debate we picked out our perfect pumpkins. I Can’t to see what comes of them when the carving begins tomorrow night.

Out on the water. September 23, 2009

We took advantage of the beautiful sunshine on sunday and went out in the boat for a few hours. It was incredible! There is something very peaceful about being out there on the water. Ryan and Jack’s highlight of the day was definitely watching the fish finder. Although we didn’t catch any fish, It was fun for them to see that there were some down there.  I’m looking forward to many more boating trips.

brittneyWow!  I can’t even believe how fast my kids are growing up. Brittney is 13 and in the  8th grade. I can remember chasing her around the living room trying to get a diaper on her. I can remember how I agonized over her going into kindergarten and not letting her ride the bus because I didn’t want anyone to be mean to her. lol. She is not so little anymore… And Little Ry…. 6years old and going in the 1st grade. I got up this morning got him all ready for his BIG day. I packed up my camera and got ready to head to the bus stop with him.  My little boy looked up at me and said ” Mom, You don’t have to walk to the bus stop with me I am walking with the other kids”  I say. ” But Ry, mommy has to get pictures of your first day of school”  Ry says. ” Mom, It’s not my first day of school, it’s just my first day of first grade. I went to kindergarten all year last year”   I practically had to beg the boy to let me walk him to the end of the driveway and take a few pictures before he headed off.   WHERE DID MY BABIES GO?

The kids had a Blast at the reptile zoo we stopped at in monroe a few weeks ago. Of course now they want a snake which is not happening!  They had every kind of reptile you could ever imagine. Even a two headed turtle which was kinda creapy. My favorite however had to be the huge turtles that roam free outside. I’ll be posting some pictures of those cuties very soon.

Family Vacation September 5, 2009

We had a great week off last month for our little family vacation. We decided to use that week to visit friends and family and to hit as many waterparks as we could handle. It was very relaxing. We came home a little water logged. It was worth it! This picture was taken at splash zone in Ephrata when we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Vanden Bos.  If any of you ever get over that way they have the most amazing gift shop. Vanden Bos Jewelry and Fine Gifts. You will not regret it.
